The Auckland Watercolour Society is an incorporated society with the purpose to promote water colour painting as an art form amongst Aucklanders.


The society has a monthly meeting with a guest speaker, recent news and a show of members artworks in response to a monthly challenge. More information can be found on the meetings page.

Merit Award Exhibition 2019

The next yearly Merit Award Exhibition of our Society will be at the Takapuna Public Library, 9 The Strand, from 23 Sept to 4 Oct 2019.

Auckland Watercolour Society Open Prize 2018

The winner of the Auckland Watercolour Society Open Prize 2018, awarded for the best original watercolour painting on the topic 'Life in Auckland'
is Elise De Silva with the painting "Evening Stroll - Buckland's Beach".


The society arranges a variety of activities which include:
