Next meeting
The next meeting will be in February 2016, and due to the holidays in the first weeks, it will be later that month, on Feb 22nd 1pm at the Glenfield Memorial Hall, Hall Road, Glenfield. Topic will be "lights and darks".

Mairangi Arts Centre Watercolour Exhibition
Mairangi Arts Centre will next year have their watercolour exhibition,
open to all watercolourists, 10-28 February 2016.

As in the previous years, we first had a wonderful wealth of Christmas cards in response to the challenge. Joanne was so kind to do the critique of all the cards. Then we had our traditional Christmas lunch, followed this time by a painting session. The topic was: a painting with three colours, and flowers were a non-binding suggestion. A good
opportunity to try another triad of choice. Amazing what was
produced in such a short time - we had less than an hour.
